Gynétics charity 2013 – “fundraising pilgrimage for the St. Bede’s Orphanage in India”

As this years’ charity, Gynétics selected a fundraising campaign organized by Mr. Frits Vandecasteele, who dedicated his campaign to support the St. Bede’s Orphanage, an orphanage of the Salesians of Don Bosco in Chennai (India). Frits Vandecasteele is a retired teacher who, during this summer, started his 20th pilgrimage of 765km to Santiago de Compostela (Spain). He began his journey in St. Jean-Pied-de-Port in France. All collected funds of Frits’ his pilgrimage will be donated to the St. Bede’s Orphanage in Chennai and will support the orphanage to pay for food supplies, schoolbooks, clothing, medical supplies and electricity for the 145 children and teenagers that the center counts. Gynétics is proud to contribute to this fundraising and wishes Frits the very best of success in succeeding on his mission.

Gynétics sponsors RCD Espanyol Women’s Team

Gynétics is proud to announce to sponsor the RCD Espanyol Women’s Team (Spain) once again for season 2013-2014.

RCD Espanyol de Barcelona is one of the most ancient and important women’s Football clubs in “La Liga” in Spain. The RCD Espanyol Women’s Team is part of the “Primera División de la Liga de Fútbol Femenino”, which is the highest level of league competition for Spanish women’s football.

At the moment, RCD Espanyol plays its matches in the Olympic Stadium until the club’s new stadium, in Cornellá, is completed. Their commitment is to provide visibility to women in the society and they are working on the participation and promotion of the gender equality policy.

Their latest achievement was being the runner up for the Catalunya’s Cup in 2013. This is a knockout competition organised by the Catalan Football Federation for football clubs in the Catalonia autonomous community of Spain.

Since July 2012, Gynétics is sponsoring the RCD Espanyol Women’s Team.

The RCD Espanyol Women’s Team is one of the most historical teams in the Spanish League. From 1974 on, RCD Espanyol decided to create a succesful section, and the power of women has been demonstrated thereafter.

The main team achieved 6 Queen’s Cups (1996, 1997, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2012), 1 Superleague (2006), participation in UEFA Women’s Champions League, as well as 4 Catalunya Cups (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009).

The women’s team is more than just a football team. The players represent the values that their club wants to transmit:Social Responsibility, sustainability, innovation, commitment, potential growth, credibility and leadership.
